Who we are
Built by watch geeks. For watch geeks.
Broad Arrow is based in the Northamptonshire countryside, and employs a small number of accredited watchmakers and horologists. We believe mechanical watches represent the pinnacle of personal art and engineering — and we want yours to run with precision for a lifetime.
In addition to our watchmaking, servicing and repair work, we offer a small, carefully chosen selection of rare and unique pieces to buy — vintage, neo-vintage and modern. Every one crosses the bench before it crosses the counter, and every one leaves with a structured condition report.
We also love to simply chat watches, watchmaking, and everything related to these phenomenal little machines we wear on our wrists. Get in touch at hello@thebroadarrow.com or on +44 1604 969542 — or come say hello on Instagram.
Why the broad arrow?
For three centuries the broad arrow was struck into everything the Crown stood behind — rifle stocks, ration tins, and the dials of military watches. It meant one thing: inspected, and accounted for.
We put our name to the same mark. It’s a promise of condition-literate honesty: polished cases called polished, service parts called service parts, and every watch standing behind its own written report — the way issued kit once stood behind the arrow.
